Ingredients
Cooked Rice - 2 cups (basmati preferable) Tomatoes - 2 finely chopped Onion - 1 finely chopped Oil - 3 tsp Jeera - 1 tsp Saunf - 1 tsp Cinnamon - 1 Turmeric powder - pinch Red chilli powder - 2 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Salt to taste Coriander leaves - for garnishing Flavoring: Ghee - 1 tsp Cashew - few
Cooking Instructions
*Heat oil in a pan and add Jeera and Saunf. *Once it splutters, add cinnamon and add the finely chopped onions *Saute till the onion turns color and raw smell goes. *Add the tomatoes and fry till it becomes mushy. *Add turmeric powder, red chilli and coriander powder. *Once it becomes mushy, add salt. *Add the cooked rice to this and mix well.
Garnishing: *Fry Cashew in the ghee and add to the mixed rice. Add chopped coriander leaves.
